Hydrangea 'Nikko Blue' is an old fashioned but wonderful deciduous shrub. Big up to 6" blooms that are bright ans cheery on the shrub and romantic and soft dried in the home. A part shade location is best. This is a medium sized hydrangea and can get to about 6'. Nikko blue will be a brilliant blue in acidic soils but will fade to a lighter blue to almost pink in alkaline soil. Plant with Heucheras, Primroses and Hellebores.
