One of the things I just love about heucheras is their ability to change. This leaf was solid green a few weeks ago and now for whatever reason the edges are a lighter green. It looks so cool. It is a subtle but beautiful thing. Most Heucheras change their shades of color throughout the seasons. They do it in a unique and wonderful way that are different on each variety. They change with temperature changes as well as with the amount of sun or shade they get. They may even change with the amount of music they are surrounded by. I hope that Dan Heims from Terra Nova Nurseries keeps creating new ones. I will never be bored with this amazing category of plants.
