Day 111, Our best northwest plant is Geum 'Eos'

Glowing color on this little Geum. Growing to about 8".Eos will mix nicely with part sun to sun Heucheras and other colorful perennials. Geum 'Eos' gets bright orange flowers but the foliage color is what makes this one a winner! Perfect for a mixed container or the front of a border. protect from really hot sun in certain areas....no worries here in Washington.

Day 102 Hostas 'Marilyn Monroe'

Marilyn Monroe' makes a 2' wide hosta clump. She has red petioles that hold the beautifuly wavy-edged, fresh-green leaves! I think Marilyn would be a stunner next to Heuchera 'Midnight Rose'.

Magic Carpet is a deciduous shrub with outstanding spring and fall color. When small it can look like fire coming out of the ground! A very hardy plant for a sunny to part sun spot. Only gets to about 2' tall and a s wide so it is a great one to tuck in between some evergreens or perennials.
