I think we all live in a private world we create for ourselves. We may have people around us all the time but 'our' reality is based on our experiences and tainted with our dramas. My world is a bit polylanna like. I tend to think that everything will always work out and that everyone is as happy as I am. I try to see the beauty in everything. Here in Washington in March after months of rain, snow, more rain and cold our little heucheras look like this. Looks evergreen to me, or ever purple. Others might disagree. All those little leaves flushing into a fabulous ball of color. In a few weeks these will be gorgeous. I cut off the dead leaves about a month ago. Below is an area I didn't get to. Quite a difference but I will cut them back now and in three weeks same story. Gorgeous! They do need dividing and I will wait for a warmer day for that. You can see the plants jutting out of the ground practically screaming "divide me". This is a planted garden art chair that has a beautiful Heuchera 'Peach Flambe' in it. A month ago it was teeny. Even with the weather, it grows and becomes more beautful. Pollyanna and I don't see the ugly chicken wire poking up from around the chair and the brown sticks. Do you?
