mmmm love the dappled shade and the way the light hits the purple, green and orange heucheras in this garden. Perfect clumps of color. Throw in a canna, grass or shrub and you have a complete garden. Even I don't just grow heucheras. Every once in a while I will add another fab plant like a tiarella or a heucherella. Ok just kidding. I love hellebores, hydrangeas and conifers and anything with unique foliage or twisty branches. Like this one, 'Flying Dragon' Poncirus trifoliata. The shape and structure are amazing PLUS there are 1-2" spikes AND it bears white flowers and bitter orange fruit. So Cool! Poncirus is a fast grower and takes well to pruning.
