Sometimes I see pictures in magazines or cataloges and I think to myself, if only it really looked like that. When I saw pictures a few years ago of Heuchea 'Electra, I thought just that. I have been so happy that the colors are really as amazing as Terra Nova said they would be. Terra Novas description is 'Shocking, blood red veins electrify the gold leaves of this startling new Heuchera. The red veination stays while the leaf changes from shades of yellow in spring to chartreuse in summer and fall and tan in the winter. Short, dense cones of white flowers. This vigorous, clumping H. villosa delivers what Tiramisu promised.'
The new BLACk Petunia is one of those plants that I thought would not live up to pictures but we saw some last summer and can hardly wait till ours arrive this spring! They are black and velvety. Going to be even cooler than Petunia 'Picasso' from last year. We are getting ours in this week. April 7th 2011.
