Is a Heuchera picture worth a thousand words. I thought I would try something. See if I could capture the glory of heucheras with out a picture.
Close your eyes and imagine walking through a garden. You walk by mounds of large purple leaves that vary in color from silver purple and red violet to deep black purple, almost like an amazing purple rainbow. Some of the purple leaves are small and you smile because the stunning colors are almost breath taking even on the tiny ones. The leaves on these beautiful plants range from crinkles and ruffly to flat and deeply veined with contrasting colors like deep burgundy to light pink. Some of the purple leaves are lobed and some have sharp points like maples. Yet all of these plants are a collection of stunning purple heucheras.
