Day 289 Farfugium 'Leopards Plant'

Farfugium j. 'Aureo-maculatum' is the green and yellow form of Leopards Plant. A semi evergreen perennial that is hardy to zone 7. Leaves can get to be about 6". The color is so unique, a deep green that is splotched with bright yellow as if paint spilled on them.


Farfugium j. 'Argentium' is the white and green variety. Leaves are enormous. Both these farfugiums are great in your shade gardens planted next to what else but Heucheras! More fabulous foliage for the shade. They do get yellow flowers that can brighten any shady spot.
